Challenge
Build a store where pet owners find it easy and enjoyable to choose food and accessories or book a service, and one that serves all of America.
An online store for pet food and accessories with delivery across the US. Plus services, pet sitting and dog walking, all in one place.
Build a store where pet owners find it easy and enjoyable to choose food and accessories or book a service, and one that serves all of America.
We drew a warm illustrated world with dog characters, organized the catalog by category, gave services their own section and made checkout a couple of simple steps.
A store with a recognizable personality: products and services in one place, a clear cart and a mobile version designed like an app.
This is Minsom’s working front end. Scroll the home page, open the catalog and a product page, book a dog walk and see how it all looks on a phone.

Owners don’t need to call and explain what their pet needs. Pick a service, check the details, and the price is calculated instantly. Leave a phone number, and the order goes straight to the company. See how it works on the site.
Fresh screenshots of the working front end: home page, catalog, product page, service booking, cart and mobile version.
A video presentation of the project: home page, catalog, service booking, cart and checkout, on desktop and mobile. Full mockups of every page are in the website presentation.
We drew eight characters especially for Minsom. They greet shoppers on the home page, live in the catalog sections, on the booking screens and in the footer, and make the store recognizable. No animals were harmed in the making of this project :)

Pet stores often look like warehouses: endless product grids on a white background.
We wanted Minsom to feel like caring for a pet, so we relied on illustrations, a soft palette and friendly copy.
The catalog is split into clear sections: food, clothing and accessories, health and hygiene, treats. Pet sitting and dog walking have their own section, and the mobile version works like an app menu, with everything within thumb’s reach.
What does your company do, and what should the website achieve?
